Joe began working professionally in the personal development industry in 1997 with Dr. Rob Gilbert a popular New York area motivational speaker, writer, editor, college professor and creator of the free “Success Hotline” which is still going strong EVERYDAY since 1992! He then began working at the Economics Press which at the time was a leading training and motivational newsletter publisher to help produce the little magazine that has been motivating the world since the 1960's called “Bits and Pieces.” It was also during this period that Joe completed his first book titled “College Success Code Exposed: 100% Life Enhancing Secrets Professors Don't Know & Parents Can't Tell” This 350 page guide drew from Joe's past experience with higher education as well as his passion for enlightenment. Currently the book is out of print.

Next Joe would put his degree in Communication to the test by becoming a Success and Career Speaker. He would excel in this endeavor to the point of exhaustion. Joe was such a powerful and dynamic speaker that he was booked for and conducted a staggering 503 talks in just less than two years. This hectic schedule in combination with the lack of microphones or amplifiers at any of his talks started putting a strain on Joe's voice. Later he also began training other speakers in his downtime between talks which pushed his already stressed voice over the edge and lead to Joe suffering an acute vocal fold hemorrhage during a presentation in 2002.

This led doctors to enforce a period of complete silence for Joe which lasted months. After the silence he spent several more months in vocal therapy to relearn the mechanics of better speaking. It was during that period while he was undergoing one of his many throat scopes (that's when they insert a 12 inch optical cable light into your nasal cavity and twist it down your throat) that he experienced something magical. Right then in the middle of the procedure he accessed a direct channel with the universe and his life would never be the same. It was in that instant that he unknowingly began the process of creating his landmark product titled the SONIC SECRET: Law of Attraction Music System which would finally be released 7 years later. In mid 2003 with Joe back on his feet and his speaking career in jeopardy (as it would be a few years until his voice came back 100%) he began working with David Riklan the founder of the leading self improvement website SelfGrowth.com. David was running a one man operation in a small office above a chiropractor's office in central New Jersey and Joe invited himself in for an interview for a job that didn't exist yet; he was hired on the spot. To this day David claims that hiring Joe was one of the very top decisions he ever made for his business.

With David leading the way together they dramatically expanded the company's size, created new products, and extended the reach of SelfGrowth.com until it received more traffic each month than Tony Robbins's website, Deepak Chopra's website, and even Dr. Phil's website.

The first product David, Joe and Selfgrowth.com created ended up becoming one of the most successful self published ebooks in history. The release of the ebook “Self Improvement: the Top 101 Experts Who Help Us Improve Our Lives” was greeted with an amazing opening campaign which generated over $108,000 worth of sales in the first 24 hours alone.

As SelfGrowth.com grew into the massive site it is now with over 1,000,000 visitors per month Joe's daily tasks involved working with the biggest names in personal development such as “Chicken Soup for the Soul” creators Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield, All of the experts from “The Secret” including Bob Proctor, Dr. Joe Vitale, Hale Dwoskin, and John Assaraf to name a few as well as just about every other expert or organization that has ever made a beyond worthy contribution to the world of personal development. As 2010 burgeoned it was setting up to be a big year for Joe. As a child he went through vigorous and controversial physical eye therapy which greatly expanded his awareness of space and energy later in life to the point where he has been known to catch objects thrown at him with his eyes closed.
